Janet E. Buchalter, M.A.

Janet is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). She graduated from Chapman University in Orange, CA, with a B.A. in Psychology; from San Diego State University with an M.A. in Music with a focus in Communications; and from Santa Clara University with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology.

Janet was a manager for 15 years in the communications field in the technology sector. To this day, communications plays a significant role in work as a therapist. She specializes in trauma, codependency, family issues, anxiety, relationship issues and spirituality. She believes that healing comes when we are balanced in our mental, spiritual, physical and emotional planes. In her leisure time, she plays classical piano, swims, hikes, reads incessantly and treks to the ocean as often as possible.
